#17: Axe Drop #0017 Title: PUT IT DOWN

Some of y’all are carrying shit that is crushing you, and you keep acting like if you think about it hard enough, you’ll somehow control the outcome.
You won’t.
All you’re doing is wearing yourself the hell out.
That weight on your chest…
that thing eating at you the second you wake up…
that same thing staring back at you in the dark before you go to sleep…
it’s been riding with you everywhere.
In the truck.
At work.
In the shower.
In the silence.
In every moment your mind gets one second to breathe.
And instead of putting it down, you keep picking it back up.
Turning it over.
Running scenarios.
Replaying conversations.
Trying to solve what hasn’t even happened yet.
That kind of living will break a man down from the inside.
Listen to me.
Not everything can be fixed tonight.
Not everything can be controlled.
Not everything is yours to carry.
You handle what’s in front of you.
You do what you can.
You take the next step.
And then you quit strangling yourself over the rest.
Because the truth is, most of the shit we worry about never happens the way we feared it would anyway.
And when life does land a hard punch, somehow we still get back up and keep moving.
That’s what we do.
So if your mind’s been running wild and your chest’s been heavy, here’s your sign:
Put the damn weight down.
Not a little.
Not when it’s convenient.
All the way.
Breathe.
Reset.
Get your feet back under you.
And move forward like somebody who remembers they’ve survived hard days before.
You are not done.
You are not broken.
You are just tired from carrying too much for too long.
Let some of it go.
