It’s quiet right now. Too quiet. I made the changes. Now I’m just standing here waiting for the hurricane to hit. That’s the thing about change. Some people respect it. Some people understand it. And some people fight it like hell just because they hate losing control. You try to prevent the storm. You speak up early. You tell the truth straight. You give warning after warning. But people don’t want to hear it. They don’t want to listen. They don’t want to take your word for what it is. Then everything blows apart. Shit hits the fan. And suddenly the same people who ignored every warning want somebody to blame. That’s usually when they point at you. Make you the villain. Act like you caused the damage instead of trying to stop it. Not this time. I’m not pacing. I’m not panicking. And I’m damn sure not folding. I’m ready. If the storm’s coming, let it come.
