Why is it so hard to find love? Real love. The kind that sees you for who you are, not for what you can give, provide, or become for somebody else. Some days, it feels like a fairy tale. Like something we were told as kids so we would believe there was a forever person waiting somewhere out there. And some days, you wonder if that kind of love is even real anymore. But until it finds you, love yourself. Love yourself through the lonely days. Love yourself when others fail to see your worth. Love yourself when you feel overlooked, unwanted, or tired of starting over. Because you are worthy of love. You are worthy of being chosen. You are worthy of someone who cares about your heart, not just what you bring to the table. I still believe real love exists. God, the right person, the right moment— it has to be real. I know it is.
